I am a recent graduate in Biology from MIT, and am excited to spend the summer working and learning at Makerere University in Kampala, Uganda. Most of my academic background is in genetics and molecular biology, but I also spent a lot of time at MIT on student government activities as president of my dormitory and as a teaching assistant for biology lab courses. I hope to learn a lot this summer and work with the excellent students of Makerere University to develop and implement their ideas and solutions for agricultural problems.
