How do I book a shuttle?
Presently, when a customer needs a shuttle, they have to make a phone call, send an email or fax a booking form. Passengers waiting for a cab have no way of knowing the vehicle whereabouts without calling the shuttle company and in turn have to call the driver. Lack of communication between owner/driver and passengers.

Solution

An integrated way of tracking and communicating with mini bus drivers , passengers and the company owner.

Passengers no longer have to call shuttle services to locate their vehicle.

Our proposed solution works in the following way :

The Passenger:

Book service using a mobile application.
Viewing the vehicle location in near real-time enabling you to determine departure and arrival times.

The Driver:
--------------
Receive booking notification from the mobile application.
View passenger location on map.
Show route on map.

The Owner:
--------------
Driver and Passenger monitoring.
Approve/Decline booking request if out of range.
Reporting (revenue generated, number of trips, passenger hotspots, number of passengers each trip)hey can locate their cabs, any time and at no additional cost.

Strategy

We plan to provide the solution, by building an application for commuters and providing software and hardware for the commuting companies.
To get initial customers, we will produce a prototype and give commuting companies the opportunity to compare our system with their current ones.hey can locate their cabs, any time and at no additional cost.
Because we are a small start up at this point, we have small overheads which enables us to bring more functionality at a cheaper price to the market segment which could also result in good, long standing customer relations.
We will cater for two revenue models, a subscription based model and a once off payment option as well.

We creating a fleet management system that augments current industry standard versions, by integrating a communication element that would allow shuttle companies to track and communicate with their drivers in near real-time as well as enable commuters to view their shuttle location, limiting unnecessary communication, saving time and money.
