Hector is the Technical Instructor and helped initiate the GSL program in Mexico City at UNAM last summer. He graduated from MIT with a degree in Computer Science and Engineering. At MIT he worked on a storied navigation project with the Common Sense Computing Group at the MIT Media Lab. Currently he is pursuing a Ph.D. at U.C. Berkeley. For his project he works with tech startups in the San Francisco Bay area, specifically those started by or focused on Latinos, and explores possible points of collaboration with Mexican tech startups.
