Sam is an undergraduate at MIT majoring in Electrical Engineering and Computer Science with a focus on Computational Biology. He has spent some time at MIT building micro-scale electrodes to control electric impulses in living organisms. Then he got interested in small business development and mobile applications, so he found AITI to be a perfect combination of the two. Sam joined AITI as a teaching assistant for summer 2010. Sam spent some time in medical school before starting over at MIT, and he is very interested in using technology to improve public health. He is also a passionate traveler and has visited about 20 countries and more than 100 cities. If he wasn't a Computer scientist, he would either be a string theorist or working for Doctors without borders.
